INTERSPORT – runs, advises, and supports Poland Business Run Foundation

„Sport is our passion” - the employees of INTERSPORT chain proved this quote by winning the charity Poland Business Run held in Gdańsk on 4 September 2016.


INTERSPORT Polska S.A. chain was this year’s partner of the ”Poland Business Run” held in seven biggest Polish cities, combined with the charity action ”After-start support” organized by Poland Business Run Foundation.  
INTERSPORT Polska S.A. chain presented each  participant of the run with a starter pack - a 25% discount code for the purchase of running attire and footwear. The promotion shall last from 1 to 30 September 2016 in the Internet store and all brick and mortar stores of the chain.  
INTERSPORT Polska S.A. chain not only was involved in the charity action assigning 5% of the value of the purchases made using the discount code to the Foundation but also fielded its teams in three cities: Kraków, Warszawa, and Gdańsk. INTERSPORT teams made of store employees were ranked among the winners of all runs and in Gdańsk the INTERSPORT team won the first place in the relay outclassing other participants.

It is worth mentioning that during the Poland Business Run edition in Kraków and Wrocław INTERSPORT chain additionally organized ”foot analysis” stands which enjoyed tremendous popularity among the event participants. Long lines of runners queued to have their feet measured and analyzed until late afternoon.
