Automated central warehouse

The Implementation of EPC/RFID Innovative Technology at the New Generation Logistic Centre of Intersport Polska S.A..Project in 2010 received the award of Polish Logistics Association.

In September 2009 INTERSPORT Polska S.A. chain commissioned an automated central warehouse of the area of 2.500 m2 in Cholerzyn by Krakow. The warehouse operates based on the latest European mini-load technology. The investment, innovative on Polish scale, was subsidized with the EU means. In the years to come, the investment is planned to help the Company in: decreasing warehouse management costs, significantly improving co-ordination of activities in the system of orders, lowering the costs of goods and stocks keeping and widening the Internet store offer.
