Supervisory Board

Mr Artur Olender,
Mr Artur Olender is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

Mr Artur Olender studied at the University of Science and Technology (AGH) in Kraków, Faculty of Electronics and Automation. He also studied at the London Business School. He is a holder of Broker’s Licence № 13 awarded to him in 1991 and the Back-Office Licence № 599/1996 of 1996 granted to him by the London Clearing House, London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange and the International Petroleum Exchange. Mr Artur Olender with his long-lasting experience in capital market operations and high positions once held by him in the Penetrator Brokerage warrants that the activities of the Supervisory Board of INTERSPORT Polska S.A. will be managed in a competent and experienced manner.
The term of Mr Artur Olender at the position of the Chairman of the Supervisory Board will lapse on the day on which the General Shareholders’ Meeting is held in order to examine the financial statements for 2009.

Ms Beata Mikołajko,
Ms Beata Mikołajko is the Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

She graduated from the Scandinavian Language Department and Faculty of Pedagogy of the Jagiellonian University, Kraków. She also completed post-graduate studies in Speech Therapy at the University of Pedagogy, Kraków. Her additional qualifications include the Certificate of Competence of Costal Skipper awarded to her by the Polish Yachting Association (PZŻ), the Certificate of Speech Therapist issued by the Polish Association of Speech Therapists. She also passed an examination in the German Language administered by the State Examination Board. Ms Beata Mikołajko, over her several-year employment at various positions in INTERSPORT S.A., has acquired an in-depth knowledge of the business of the Company. Although no longer is she an employee of the Company, her practical knowledge of the Company serves her well in the performance of duties at the position of the Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board. The term of Ms Beata Mikołajko at the position of the Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board will lapse on the day on which the General Shareholders’ Meeting is held in order to examine the financial statements for 2009.

Mr Łukasz Gil,
Mr Łukasz Gil performs the duties of a member of the Supervisory Board.

He is the holder of the MA degree in financial management awarded to him at the Faculty of Business Management of the University of Science and Technology (AGH), Kraków. The studies at the faculty are conducted by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a member of which he is. Mr Łukasz Gil, with his internationally acknowledged qualifications and experience earned as auditor of financial records, and currently as the Manager of Accounting Support Department of Philip Morris Service Center Europe, warrants that financial data and records of the Company will be verified and reviewed in a professional and reliable manner.

The term of Mr Łukasz Gil at the position of a member of the Supervisory Board will lapse on the day on which the General Shareholders’ Meeting is held in order to examine the financial statements for 2009.

Ms Dorota Radwańska,
Ms Dorota Radwańska performs the duties of a member of the Supervisory Board.

She is the holder of the M. Sc. degree in chemistry awarded to her by the Faculty of Materials Engineering and Ceramics of the University of Science and Technology (AGH), Kraków. Ms Dorota Radwańska has been employed at the US Consulate General, Kraków as an office worker since 1994. In the course of her few-year’s employment at various positions in INTERSPORT S.A., Ms Dorota Radwańska has acquired knowledge of the business of the Company. Although no longer is she employed at the Company, she uses her practical experience so acquired in her activities in the Supervisory Board. The term of Ms Dorota Radwańska at the position of a member of the Supervisory Board will lapse on the day on which the General Shareholders’ Meeting is held in order to examine the financial statements for 2009.

Mr Klaus Jost,
Mr Klaus Jost 
a German citizen, holds a post of a member of the Supervisory Board.

Mr. Klaus Jost is the President of the Management Board of  Intersport Deutschland eG and the President of the Supervisory Board of Intersport International Corporation. His many-years’ experience on managerial posts in the world sports industry, including Sport 2000, ADIDAS, and presently INTERSPORT Companies ensure deep professionalism and input of positive experience to the Company.  

Mr Piotr Dygas,
Mr Piotr Dygas performs the duties of a member of the Supervisory Board.

He is a graduate of law of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. He obtained the title of the master of law having defended the master thesis written under the supervision of Prof. Andrzej Szumański at the faculty of Business and Commercial law. Currently he is a solicitor with Circuit Solicitor Chamber in Krakow and runs Legal Office „Dygas, Zyder – Adwokaci”Professional Partnership.
