Growth strategy


The principal objective of the strategy is to open new specialist sports stores under the name INTERSPORT of areas ca. 1,000 m2, situated in carefully selected renowned shopping centres in big cities. A convenient location should result in a mass flow of visitors and customers to whom the Company addresses its offer of sports goods.

Strategy for the next years is implemented through:
  • further dynamic extension of the sports store chain in Poland,
  • uniform, transparent appearance of the sports stores, arranged in accordance with the concept of a flagship store,
  • the development of the best range of products offered,
  • better availability of ski, bicycle and tennis services,
  • continuous improvement of customer service, e.g. through training courses and a performance assessment programme,

For the following years, INTERSPORT Polska S.A. plans to open about 1-2 sports stores annually; this should result in its achieving a leader position in Poland as regard the number of sports stores and the largest share in the Polish market of sports goods to 20%.
