Estimated financial results after the second quarter of 2016

The Management Board of INTERSPORT Polska S.A. Company with the seat in Cholerzyn informs that according to the preliminary estimates in the second quarter of 2016 the Company gained total net revenue on sale of PLN 52,043 thousand, i.e. 5.8% less compared to the previous year (was: PLN 55,252 thousand).

Net revenue on the sales of goods and services in the particular months was as follows:
• April 2016: PLN 17,280 thousand (+2.1% y/y)
• May 2016: PLN 17,738 thousand (-7.0% y/y)
• June 2016: PLN 17,025 thousand (-11.6% y/y).

In the second quarter of 2016 the Company gained EBIDTA of PLN 418 thousand (in the second quarter of 2015 it was on the level of PLN 2,615 thousand) and the gross loss amounted to PLN 1,541 thousand (in the second quarter of 2015 the Company gained gross profit of PLN 259 thousand).

Increasingly, from January to June 2016 total revenue on sales net amounted to PLN 107,269 thousand, i.e.3.6% less than in the analogous period of the last year (was: PLN 111,264 thousand).

The Management Board estimates that after the first year-half of 2016 the Company will gain EBIT of PLN 436 thousand, EBITDA of ca. PLN 3,780 thousand and the gross loss of ca. PLN 456 thousand.

The operating expenses in the first quarter of 2016 were ca. 1% lower, i.e. PLN 335 thousand y/y less.

At the same time it is informed that detailed financial report for the first half year of 2016 will be published on 30 August 2016 after verification of all data by a chartered auditor.
