Estimated financial results for 2012

Article 56, par. 1, pt. 2 of the Public Offering Act - current and periodic information

In accordance with Article 5 pt. 1 subpt. 25 of the Resolution of the Minister of Finance on current and periodic information provided by issuers of securities of 19 February 2009, read together with Article 31 of that Regulation, the Management Board of INTERSPORT Polska S.A., with its registered office in Cholerzyn, informs that , pursuant to the preliminary estimates, in 2012 the Company generated :
1.    a total net revenue from the sale of goods and services in the amount of PLN 233,003,000.00, which means a 20.1 per cent increase in comparison to the previous year - out of which :
  • the company generated sales on the basic line of business in the amount of PLN 219,680,000.00, i.e., by 13.2per cent more than in 2011 (it was: PLN 194,079,000.00 );
  • at selected sales stands at stadiums and fan zones during the EURO tournament, the company generated sales in the amount of PLN 13,323,000.00
2.    a gross profit in the amount of PLN 1,022,000.00, in comparison to a loss in the amount of PLN 14,847,000.00 generated in 2011;
3.    an EBITDA in the amount of PLN 10,312,000.00, in comparison to an EBITDA in the amount of minus PLN 4,788,000.00 generated in 2011.

A detailed financial report for 2012 will be published on 21 March 2013, after all data is verified by the certified auditor.
