The Management Board of INTERSPORT Polska S.A. informs that according to preliminary estimates in the second quarter 2014 the Company gained net revenue on sales of PLN 55,368 k, a 7.2% increase as compared to the analogous period of the last year (PLN 51,636 k).

The breakdown of the net revenue on sales of goods and services as per particular months was as follows:

In the second quarter of 2014 the Company’s result was better than in the analogous period of the previous year. In the second quarter 2014 gross loss amounted to PLN 423 k, i.e. 71% less than in the analogous period of 2013 (was: gross loss of PLN 1,451 k).

Increasingly, from January to June 2014 total revenue on sales net amounted to PLN 115,139 k, i.e. 5% more than in the analogous period of the last year (was: PLN 109,694 k).

The Management Board estimates that after the first quarter 2014 the Company will gain gross profit of PLN 96 k with EBITDA on the level of ca. PLN 4,272 k.

At the same time it is informed that detailed financial report for the first half of 2014 will be published on 29 August 2014 after verification of all data by a chartered auditor.
