The Management Board of INTERSPORT Polska SA with its registered office in Cholerzyn informs, that in May 2017 the Company generated net sales of PLN 13,604 thousand PLN, i.e by 23.3% lower than in the corresponding period of 2016 (was: PLN 17,738 K); on the basis of comparable stores (LFL) - yearon- year sales were lower by 18.9%.

At the same time, in May 2017, margin% of sales has reached by 3,5pp. higher than in the corresponding period of 2016 .

The main reason for lower turnover in stores in May 2017 was about 60% lower the Inventories of own brands INTERSPORT. This is a result of the change of the business model of own brands - the suspension of purchases from intermediary and commencement to buy of directly from the factories in China from the end of August 2017.

Cumulatively, from January to May 2017 INTERSPORT Polska SA recorded net sales of PLN 75,127 thousand PLN, i.e 16.8% less than in the corresponding period of 2016 (was: PLN 90,244 K).
